He graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine. He specialized in Anesthesiology and Reanimation at the Gulhane Military Medical Academy.
He completed his internship as a trainee doctor at GATA.
He completed his compulsory service by being appointed as a doctor under the Naval Command of the Naval Forces in Gölcük.
He was assigned to Gölcük State Hospital in 1988.
Between 1991-1999, being Assoc. Prof.Dr. he was also Clinic Assistant Chief of Haydarpaşa Gata in Istanbul.
He worked at Kasımpaşa Naval Hospital between 1999 and 2003.
In 2003, Dr. He returned to civilian life with the rank of Medical Senior Colonel and provided services in several hospitals as Chief Physician, in Intensive Care and Operating Room Responsible.
He has publications on the of Anesthesiology and Reanimation specializations published in various journals, domestic and international.
Married with a daughter, Dr. Meriç is professionally engaged in photography and has degrees in national and international competitions. He holds the EFIAP/b title, awarded by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) which is among the most prestigious titles in the field of photography.
He has been working as the Intensive Care Officer at Türkiye Hospital Adult Intensive Care Unit since 21 March 2018.
